Associate Attorney

Our client is seeking a tech savvy Associate Attorney with excellent writing skills to join their dynamic legal team. Ideal candidates will have proven experience drafting complaints, motions, and legal responses, as well as preparing and responding to discovery requests. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to high-impact litigation across multiple jurisdictions, with exposure to complex, large-scale cases.

Responsibilities

• Participate in complex civil litigation matters, with a focus on consumer protection, data privacy, and cybersecurity
• Support all phases of discovery and motion practice in state and federal courts
• Draft substantive motions, complaints, and responses
• Contribute to appellate briefs and oral argument preparation
• Support case strategy development through investigations and legal research
• Collaborate with internal teams, co-counsel, and litigation support to execute strategic plans
• Maintain clear, professional communication with clients, opposing counsel, and stakeholders, providing timely updates and guidance to partners and clients

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. state
• 4–6 years of experience in complex civil litigation, including class actions, mass torts, or mass arbitration
• Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently or collaboratively
• Tech-savvy candidates with experience in data privacy matters are strongly preferred

Location: Raleigh, NC – In-office position

Compensation: $120K–$150K base salary, plus performance-based bonus and comprehensive benefits package
