Senior Manager, AI Delivery Lead – Legal Tech

Our client is a global consulting group specializing in digital, legal tech, and AI-driven transformation. They are seeking a Senior Manager to lead AI and technology programs for corporate legal departments, primarily within the FinTech vertical. This individual will oversee assessments, solution design, implementation, adoption, and measurable operational improvements, blending client delivery, practice growth, and team leadership.

Responsibilities

•Assess legal workflows, systems, data, and AI readiness; develop use cases, business cases, roadmaps, and operating models.
•Lead multiworkstream engagements, managing scope, budgets, delivery quality, and executive communication.
•Guide build or buy decisions, vendor evaluations, pilots, and implementations across AI platforms, CLM systems, and custom agents.
•Translate legal requirements into workflows, backlogs, playbooks, and acceptance criteria; oversee configuration, integrations, data migration, testing, and deployment.
•Establish evaluation methods for accuracy, reliability, confidentiality, and human oversight.
•Run workshops, training, and change programs; track adoption, quality, turnaround time, capacity gains, and cost savings to refine solutions.
•Identify opportunities; lead discovery, proposals, SOWs, and pricing; build offerings, demos, reusable methods, and client credentials.
•Engage legal tech partners and contribute to thought leadership and industry events.
•Coach consultants, oversee work quality, support recruiting, and build legal tech/AI capabilities.

Requirements

•8+ years in consulting, legal ops, legal tech, or transformation; 3+ years leading teams or complex programs.
•Proven delivery of legal tech/AI solutions with measurable improvements; strong understanding of legal workflows (especially contracting).
•Handson experience with generative AI tools, workflow design, evaluation, and integration.
•Experience with proposals, scoping, and account growth; excellent facilitation, communication, and problem solving skills.
•Bachelor’s degree; JD a plus.
•Experience with platforms and AI applications such as Harvey, ChatGPT, Claude, Ivo, Legora; experience with playbooks, knowledge repositories, AI evaluation frameworks, or governance.
•Ability to prototype workflows (low code or code); familiarity with APIs and data models; network in legal ops/legal tech and involvement in communities (CLOC, ACC).

Location: San Francisco, New York City, or Seattle (hybrid with 3 days per week in office) with occasional travel.

Compensation: $180K–$210K base salary plus commission, performance-based bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package.
