Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of pleadings, motions, complaints, summons, subpoenas, and discovery requests
  • Conduct legal research and analyze statutes, recorded judicial decisions, legal articles, and procedural rules
  • Analyze, review, and interpret data, prepare reports
  • Create and file documents for federal and state court systems
  • Manage requests and deadlines among multiple parties
  • Manage and review docket, ensure deadlines are met
  • Indexing and file pleadings and case documents
  • Communicate with clients regarding case status, document collections, other matters related to discovery

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • 1-5 years of Paralegal or Legal Assistant experience
  • Knowledge of, or ability to analyze and follow local rules for Federal Court filings
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks
  • Associates Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Certified Florida Paralegal preferred.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

• Must be computer proficient; experience with E-Closing and/or Simplifile a big plus
• Licensed Title Agents preferred but not required
• Extensive working knowledge of and familiarity with Real Estate contracts
• Must have excellent grammar and proficiency in legal language for preparing closing documents and written correspondence
• Must be a self-starter, able to work independently and with a team
• Must be detail oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast pace environment
• Must have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be able to handle high volume
• Must have the ability to perform multiple tasks under pressure to ensure a smooth workflow
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not mandatory
