Managing Partner, eDiscovery Sales (Remote, Equity Options, US Major Cities)

RESPONSIBILITIES 

We are seeking entrepreneurial eDiscovery sales leaders who want to own a piece of their company’s success. Each Partner shall have the opportunity to build revenues in their region, share in the profits, and have a piece of equity in the company.  The primary initial responsibility will be to develop new business, and then build a team as their region grows. These individuals should possess advanced knowledge of the eDiscovery process and be able to thrive given very little direction within a fast-paced start up division. The successful candidate will have 5+ years of experience in sales or account management within the eDiscovery vertical with strong history of exceeding sales quotas of $2M+/yr.

DESCRIPTION    

  • Manage P&L, sales, and operations for assigned territory as per a signed Partnership Agreement
  • Identify client leads through various methods such as contacting individuals within their own professional network, referrals, conducting internet research, contacting trade show registrants, attending networking events and trade shows, use of various directories, and other methods
  • Cold calling client leads
  • Maintain accurate records of contacts and sales activities
  • Promote services via email marketing campaigns
  • Negotiate client billing rates and deadlines
  • Maintain close working relationship with Project Management and Production teams to ensure client projects are processed in the highest quality and completed in a timely manner
  • Monitor client satisfaction
  • Conduct market/competitor research and stay up to date on industry news, trends

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of e-discovery solutions sales experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Must be a motivated, self-starter
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, JD is a plus

Compensation: Base +\- $175-225K plus variable comp, profit sharing, equity options available

Our client, a global provider of legal technology solutions to law firms and corporate legal departments, is seeking a full time Accountant to work a hybrid schedule, partially remote with a couple days spent each week in their Los Angeles office.

Responsibilities


The Accountant shall manage invoice processing and other closing functions for the company. This individual will handle disbursements as well as identifying, resolving, and mitigating delinquencies.

DESCRIPTION


• Maintain accurate accounting records according to best practices consistent with company accounting policies
• Prepare, post, review and analyze monthly reconciliation files
• Record invoices in accounting system
• Prepare disbursement checks and set up wire transfers
• Reconcile payments and accounts
• Review and ensure accuracy of global AP transactions
• Participate in accounting process improvements with the accounting managers.
• Assist leadership with preparation of reports, review of transactions, and other accounting duties as needed

QUALIFICATIONS


• 2 or more years of experience in the accounting field
• BS in Accounting, Finance or Business
• Knowledge of US GAAP principles
• Proficiency in Excel; and MS Office Suite
• Understanding of common accounting software programs
• Detail oriented with excellent written, verbal communication skills
• Bilingual in Japanese/English preferred

Responsibilities:


• New business development from a remote setup
• Utilize phone, email, video meetings, social media and other technology driven methods to initiate, develop, and maintain client relationships within Big Law and boutique law firms
• Manage existing business
• Identify prospects and develop/implement action plan to contact enough prospects to meet or exceed goals
• Perform quality assessments
• Manage cases while working closely with customer service, report progress, and make recommendations to increase client satisfaction
• Analyze competing firms to be cognizant of market pricing, products, and services
• Attend educational events, participate in professional networking events, attend trade shows • Requirements:
