MotionLit is are looking for reliable, tech-savvy trial technician who has experience working in civil trials and presenting exhibits with industry standard trial presentation software. This will be a completely remote position, unless otherwise requested to be in-person by management, or client meetings, events, mediations, and courtroom trials. Candidates must be willing to work flexible hours, have a strong work ethic and be available for travel mostly in southern California, but sometimes throughout the state of California and/or out of state if necessary. Applicants must have a working vehicle with a valid driver’s license. Company vehicles are available if needed. Professional business attire is required during trials and during meetings with clients. Applicant also may attend marketing and social events from time to time and must be willing to work at nights and weekends whenever necessary.

Knowledge in litigation support, computers, Trial Director Software, (or On-cue presentation software), and A/V support, is required. Should have experience in database creation and management, pre-trial exhibit preparation/optimization, depo video editing, depo video syncing, coordinating data with law firms, experts and attorneys, exhibit preparations and modifications, recalling/live-presenting impeachment clips, testimony and documents on-the-fly during trial with the use of trial software. Additionally, graphic design skills are highly desired and may be required, as these services may be requested during a trial or pre-trial preparations, using PowerPoint, Photoshop, Premier, Final Cut, or other Adobe products. Knowledge in setting up/tearing down trial equipment including projectors, tv’s, led screens, elmos, and other devices is a must and required in nearly every trial. Initial on-the-job training will be provided.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Project Manager is responsible for eDiscovery project management, managing client relationships, and working with internal resources to provide high quality results.  This individual shall coordinate with other members of the project management and eDiscovery teams and will also be responsible for project scoping and managing global workflow.
