Boston: Director of Business Development, eDiscovery and Legal Solutions (New England)

Responsibilities  

Our client, a legal technology solutions provider with offices worldwide, is seeking an experienced eDiscovery sales professional (ideally based in Boston) to develop new business within a large region.  This company is a provider of a large suite of legal solutions including forensic collections, eDiscovery processing and review, depositions, InfoGov consulting, language translations services and AI solutions.       

DESCRIPTION  

  • Source new clients leads through various methods such as contacting individuals within their own professional network, referrals, conducting internet research, contacting trade show registrants, attending networking events and trade shows, use of various directories, and other methods   
  • Cold calling client leads   
  • Maintain accurate records of contacts and sales activities   
  • Promote services via email marketing campaigns   
  • Negotiate client billing rates and deadlines   
  • Maintain close working relationship with Project Management and Production teams in an effort to ensure client projects are processed in the highest quality and completed in a timely manner   
  • Monitor client satisfaction    
  • Conduct market/competitor research and stay up to date on industry news, trends   

Qualifications  

  • 5+ years of legal solutions sales experience   
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills   
  • Must be a motivated, self-starter   
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, JD is a plus

Managing Partner, eDiscovery Sales (Remote, Equity Options, US Major Cities)

RESPONSIBILITIES 

We are seeking entrepreneurial eDiscovery sales leaders who want to own a piece of their company’s success. Each Partner shall have the opportunity to build revenues in their region, share in the profits, and have a piece of equity in the company.  The primary initial responsibility will be to develop new business, and then build a team as their region grows. These individuals should possess advanced knowledge of the eDiscovery process and be able to thrive given very little direction within a fast-paced start up division. The successful candidate will have 5+ years of experience in sales or account management within the eDiscovery vertical with strong history of exceeding sales quotas of $2M+/yr.

  • Manage P&L, sales, and operations for assigned territory as per a signed Partnership Agreement

Compensation: Base +\- $175-225K plus variable comp, profit sharing, equity options available
