Data Analyst, Complex Litigation

Position Overview:  Our client, a global law firm specializing in class action lawsuits in the pursuit of advocating for the rights of victims against major corporations, is looking for a tech savvy individual to maintain, analyze, and review data that may pertain to various litigation matters. As part of the data analysis team, this individual will work with senior attorneys to support global complex civil litigation.

Responsibilities:

Conduct beneficiary analysis for multiple complex litigation cases using proprietary data mining technology.

Develop and optimize workflows on data validity and relevance.

Identify and categorize key data elements.

Process, refine, and potentially automate reports as requested by management.

Develop and implement analysis workflows and expected case timelines.

Assist with generation and of documentation guidelines for the analysis, validity, and relevance of existing and new beneficiary reports for all litigation.

Maintain and utilize existing case management tools to integrate data from external medical and legal data sources.

Coordinate with Attorneys to refine and standardize final data.

Work with Partners to identify and implement approaches for determining the validity and relevance of claims data.

Requirements:

Strong research skills, including the ability to summarize and critically analyze healthcare data.

Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work with large volumes of data.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to learn and translate legal, medical, and big data concepts across departments.

Must have strong consultative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in using MS Word and Excel.

Advanced research, data mining, and IT skills a significant plus.
