Revenue Operations Manager, Legal Technology

Our client is a provider of legal research for law firms, law schools, and government entities within the state of California and has a REMOTE opening for an experienced sales operations executive based in the western region of the US.

Position Summary

Revenue Operations Manager shall partner with sales, demand generation, finance, and customer success leadership to optimize the entire lead-to-close-to-retain sales cycle. This individual will help drive and optimize lead generation and sales team productivity by focusing on the full revenue funnel with scalable processes, data management best practices, and role-based operational enablement. Working in a matrixed revenue generation environment, the ROM will work closely with the Director of Revenue Generation and other organization leaders improve sales and marketing processes while leading a culture of continuous improvement for our digital legal subscription products.

Responsibilities and Requirements

  • Ensure data accuracy in Salesforce, Salesloft, and other operational tools used by the Revenue Generation team
  • Partner with key stakeholders to understand operational needs and evolve existing workflows to meet them
  • Work closely with all RevGen managers and drive towards simple solutions to day-to-day problems
  • Define, develop, and implement sales lead and opportunity systems and processes that scale to ensure consistent and accurate resolution of our sales development efforts
  • Produce and maintain sales and marketing reports/dashboards that accelerate information-to-action at scale
  • Write and maintain documentation for sales, customer success, and demand generation processes
  • Introduce and implement the data creation and maintenance norms and processes that are shared by other leading subscription-based technology companies
  • Drive process improvement, adoption, and effectiveness at every level of our revenue generation process
  • Be a hands-on data steward and be willing to directly pitch in on all data maintenance tasks and processes that cross over sales, demand generation, finance and customer success and
  • support efforts
  • Be fully committed to remote-first culture by being an active participant in online meetings and events via Slack, Zoom and others
  • Prepare ad hoc analysis & participate on special projects as needed
  • 3+ years in revenue operations management or business / data analyst roles
  • 3+ years of direct experience with Salesforce that includes a solid functional understanding of its role in a sales environment and strong experience creating and maintaining reports and dashboards
  • Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of sales, customer success, and demand generation disciplines
  • Exceptional collaboration skills to work in a matrixed environment across sales, product marketing and management, and demand generation
  • Proven ability to use frameworks, data, and analytical tools to help structure the team’s thinking, facilitate alignment across multiple senior stakeholders, and reach insightful, actionable answers to
  • challenging and ambiguous problems
  • Ability to balance sharp focus on measurable outcomes with deep and genuine empathy for people, customers, and the business
  • Flexible team player, with a bias for action and a commitment to see things through toward actionable outcomes and results
  • Strong organizational skills with extremely strong attention to details
  • Direct experience with the legal industry
  • 2+ years hands-on experience with sales or marketing automation
  • tools, such as HubSpot, SalesLoft, Marketo, Outreach or similar

Location: West Coast (Remote)    

Compensation: Salary $120-135K/year

Benefits include 100% employer-paid health, vision, and dental care; pension or 403b with 8% employer contribution, approximately 15 days PTO, and 13 paid holidays.
