As an Attorney at the firm, you will play a crucial role in protecting policyholders’ interests. This position involves handling diverse legal matters, providing strategic advice, and representing clients in negotiations and litigation.
Key Responsibilities:
· Advocate for policyholders in first-party property insurance issues including coverage disputes and claim denials.
· Conduct thorough reviews of insurance policies and claim documentation to assess coverage and build strong cases.
· Manage a diverse caseload, conduct legal research, draft documents, and ensure organized case documentation.
· Utilize strong negotiation skills to secure advantageous settlements.
· Represent clients effectively in court proceedings and other legal settings.
· Collaborate with a team of professionals to ensure optimal case management and client outcomes.
Requirements:
· Juris Doctor degree and active Bar membership in relevant jurisdiction.
· 5+ years of litigation experience; first-party property insurance experience preferred.
· Exceptional research, analytical, writing, and negotiation skills.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
